The JICP was incredibly saddened to hear that Mervyn Smith succumbed to the Coronavirus earlier this month.
Mervyn was not only a very competent lawyer, giving very wise and considerate legal advice to the JICP but also such a special, caring and kind person.
He was always willing to help any Inner City stakeholder with sensitive legal matters. He will be greatly missed by many throughout Johannesburg but in particular the Inner City.
Our sincerest condolences go to Mervyn’s family, friends and colleagues.
